Score! - Part 2

Last week, I scored big time at Walmart.  Yesterday it was Target in Gainesville, Georgia.  I found the Divergent movie dolls, and the movie isn't even being shown in theaters yet!  It'll appear in theaters this coming Friday, March 14.  I wasn't going to get these dolls, but I just couldn't resist.  Moreville could use some recent college graduates. LOL

Here are Four and Tris still in their boxes.

Here they are de-boxed. These two are fully articulated. Yay! No re-bodying necessary!

Tris has a tattoo of three birds symbolizing the people she left behind.

Four's tattoos symbolize the things he's most afraid of.

The college kids heard so much about Casey's, they decided to check it out.

Seems everyone winds up at Casey's at some point or another; except the little kids and teens that is. I'm not sure what will develop with these two and some of the other Moreville residents.  I guess I'll just have to wait until they "tell" me their stories. :-)

  1. Yay, Cindi! Congrats on your new finds. They look attractive, and I love how they flick open their wallets to show their ids. Thanks for sharing the details about them.

    1. These dolls are so cool! I couldn't believe I found them locally before the movie was even released. I couldn't' resist doing a little mini-story to feature them. :-)

    1. Hi Adrian!
Casey's is the favorite hangout for all the locals. It's mine too! LOL. Glad you like the tables and chairs. I built them all. :-)

    1. Hi Nymphaea!
These really are beautiful dolls! I can't always tell what the dolls really look like from Mattel's promo photos, so I was thrilled when I found these locally. Everything about them is very nicely done. :-)

  5. I love their tattoos! It's funny that Toki Doki was a big deal because of hers, but these guys are "ok" because they're from a movie. *shakes head*

I can't wait to see what these two get up too as well!!!
(It also cracked me up how prompt they both were with their IDs XD)

    1. It does seem strange that tattoos on these guys are "ok" because they were made after movie characters. Shrug. I don't know. I'm sure these two are used to being carded. Casey's isn't the first tavern they've been in. LOL. :-)

    1. Hello William! Welcome to my blog! Yes, you really lucked out. Since the movie is expected to be a big hit, you've got to grab the dolls the minute you see them. And they're beautiful dolls to boot! :-)

    2. The only problem i have with these guys is that the girl should have had swivel knees and not the hindge knee and i dont really care for the tattoos in the center of his back. I do really like their faces alot though!

    3. I'm really not crazy about the tattoos myself, but I plan to keep him covered. LOL. I can live with the knees as long as they bend so she can sit down. I'm happy they're poseable! :-)

  9. Congrats! I just recently seen the female actress on "The Chew". The doll does resemble her in the face. Initially I thought it was just a plain doll.
