Ryan's Accident

After Amber's somewhat irritating visit to Casey's, Ryan starting working on the custom cabinet that will be mounted behind the bar.  He measured out the pieces and started cutting the wood for the frame.  He was making great progress until he came across a piece that had a knot in it.  Unfortunately, Ryan didn't notice the knot until his circular saw hit it.  When it did, the saw kicked back and the blade slashed into Ryan's forearm.  He was lucky the cut wasn't deeper than it was.  Casey ran over, placed a tourniquet on Ryan's arm and rushed him to Dr. Carlyle's office which was close by.  Ryan complained the whole way...

An hour or so later...

Ah, love at first sight. Isn't it great?! It's nice to know that it still happens, even in this day and age of social media and modern technology. I'm so happy for Ryan and Anna Lee!  I just wish he didn't have to get hurt in order to meet her. But he won't be hurt for long.  Dr. Carlyle's patients tend to heal very quickly....:-)

Amber Visits Casey's

I'm happy to report that the work on Casey's Place is moving right along.  While there's still alot that needs to be done, at least things are getting done.  Today, Ryan appears to be the only one there working.  The other workers must be at lunch.  Little does Ryan know that he's about to have an unexpected, and perhaps unwelcome, visitor...

And so Amber strikes again.  Maybe someday she'll grow up, open her eyes and see things as they really are.  But I wouldn't count on it.  She's having way too much fun!  As for her husband, Terry, well, he just works all the time...
