New Winter Clothes

With all the snow, ice and bitterly cold temperatures in Moreville, the residents have been scrambling to find any warm clothes they could get their hands on. Per the request of my dear friend Vanessa of Van's Doll Treasures, here are some new crochet creations I came up with.

Darby found a colorful new sweater. Adaline got a new warm jacket.

Ace got a new sweater also, and Adaline got a new coat.

Sophia needed a new business suit for work. It consists of two pieces.

Spying on the Moreville residents and crocheting them clothes are perfect pastimes for cold, snowy and windy days. By the time winter is over, I may have enough crochet clothes for one of the girls to start up their own boutique. I know a couple of them are interested in doing just that. Ice, Ice Baby

After yesterday's rain/snow/ice/wintry mix, I couldn't resist taking pictures of the aftermath. We lost power sometime during the night, but thankfully it didn't last long. I felt sorry for the crews having to be out in the cold, yet grateful that they were out restoring power to all affected areas.

The ice was so heavy, one of the main branches split right off.

Of course, none of this even comes close to what people in the northern part of the US are dealing with. My thoughts and prayers are with them. D7ana and Ro, hope you guys stay safe and warm. :-)

Amber's Reality Check

After a pleasant day of shopping, Amber and her sister Adrian stopped at Casey's for a couple of drinks before heading home. Of course, Amber immediately steered the conversation around to her next VIP party...

Adrian finally gave up trying to convince Amber that she's living in a dream world. Amber isn't listening. She'll always believe that people will fall over themselves trying to get to one of her parties. So Adrian sat back, took a deep breath, ordered another glass of wine and let her sister ramble on. Smart girl. :-)
