Yes folks, welcome to Cleveland, Georgia in January. Of course this is not a typical winter. Normally we don't get snow, and if we do it's very little. And I thought I got away from this stuff when I moved here from Colorado four years ago! But unlike Colorado, the white stuff here will be gone by tomorrow or the next day. Yay!

I couldn't resist sharing these since this type of winter weather doesn't happen here very often. I hope to have another dolly story posted soon. Stay warm everyone! :-)
The world has gone crazy!
ReplyDeleteI agree Heather, the world has gone bananas! This weather actually reminded me of your iceapalooza from a couple or so weeks ago. :-)
DeleteIt kinda looks pretty. Important thing is for you to stay warm.
ReplyDeleteHi Ro!
DeleteIt is pretty, and everything is so quiet when it's falling. I remember that from Colorado. It's not the snow that bothers me so much as the ice underneath it. As long as I don't have to walk on it, drive on it or shovel it, I'm ok! LOL :-)
Stay warm! The dogs may enjoy playing in the snow. I know my big dogs used to love it. Bruce is from upstate NY, so he felt right at home in the snow. The bad thing about snow in GA are the horrible drivers, who don't have a clue. I think I will stay off the road.
ReplyDeleteOur big dogs love it, but we didn't let Bruiser out there. It's too cold for him even in his little sweater. And you're right about the idiot drivers around here. They really don't have a clue. At least in Colorado, they know to stay off the road. Not here. If you look at a live traffic map of Atlanta right now, it's a deadlocked mess! No one can get in or out. Geez! You're a very smart lady to stay home. We are! LOL :-)
DeleteShould have taken some pictures this morning, was so pretty with all the snow on the trees and the yard with a blanket of snow. Oh well, the mud will happen this coming weekend and things will be back to normal!! YAY for 60 degree weather but dang for the rain! Love the pictures!
ReplyDeleteIt is pretty. I do have to admit that. Thanks about the pics! I just couldn't resist taking them and then posting them. :-)
DeleteI've never seen snowing
ReplyDeleteI saw tons of snow when I lived in Colorado. It's so pretty when it blankets everything, but a pain to shovel and drive on! LOL. :-)
DeleteHope it clears soon, but that you get your winter stories done before ;-)
ReplyDeleteGood luck with them. Me, I will be glad when this stuff is OUT and Spring bounds in.
It was gone two days later. LOL. I don't miss it. Hope it clears out soon for you also. I understand your area has been hammered...
